SATTI: Food of the Brave

The first to ever burn their tongues with the taste of Satti were the warriors of South Asia. Our ancestors, the ancient Malay, fused spices, peanuts, and herbs to concoct a dish for the brave.

In Indonesia, they call it satay. In Singapore and Thailand, they call it sate. In the Philippines, particularly in Zamboanga - precious pearl of the South - it is satti.

Here it is made with a secret recipe handed down from generation to generation. Delicious, spicy, sweet satti sauce is served with chicken or beef grilled to perfection. Add the native taste of rice cooked in tamu or coconut leaves, and you are given a unique taste of exotic Mindanao.

What is from Zamboanga, we now bring to Manila as you may know order or dine in at our residence in Quezon City.

Go on, satisy yourself, partake of the dish of the brave.

Enjoy!
